For me. I get so little writing done. My reading habit just about disappears too. I blame the fact that it’s closing in on 7 PM and still 97 degrees outside. How can I NOT get out there and play with the garden, the motorcycle, the cars?

Smoked Oysters

I joined the clan of smokers today. Nope: not cigarettes, but a smoker like this:

I’m curing it now. I can’t wait to smoke a big pork butt (let’s face it, I do love big butts), some corn on the cob, and eventually some oysters.

It’s easier to leave than to be left behind

Sigh. My motorcycle battery is dead. I’ve had it on a tender via a pigtail for the last few months but its age finally took a toll on the four year-old battery.
